Day Five:
Today I am thankful for the Gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ. I am thankful that no matter what I do or don't do, I am precious in the sight of the Lord. My salvation is not based on works, but it is solely based on the grace of God and the death of Jesus Christ. I am thankful that God's mercy on my life is not based on my merit, because I would be doomed. I am also thankful for a husband who often "makes" me sit down to read and study God's word. He is such a precious leader to me.
