So, tonight we were just about to put Nora to bed. We said our prayers, and Jonathan asked Nora for a kiss. As he so often does, he asked Nora if she wanted to rub his whiskers. (Yes, my studly husband has a beard these days for those of you who haven't seen him in a while). Nora, of course, was happy to oblige her daddy and rubbed his beard. She then looked at me and said, "blah, blah, blah, Mommy whiskers?" and proceeded to rub my face just like she does Jonathan's.
Um, hello, do I LOOK like I have whiskers? Jonathan thought that was hysterical while I tried to explain to Nora that Mommy doesn't have a beard. Only Daddy does. Right? Are you not telling me something?
Thought it was cute. Thought I'd share.
