Last week, as we made our way into the month of May, it hit me that exactly three years ago we moved from Louisiana to Tennessee. Three years! Wow, to say that the time has gone fast is the biggest understatement. It's funny, really, because in some ways I feel that we've been here for longer. The friendships we've made, our life at church, having Jonathan's family close by, all make it seem like our roots here go way down deep. But, at the same time, three years seems like just yesterday. Just three years ago, I was about 5 months pregnant with Nora, we bought our first house here, and completely uprooted all that was known to us to settle here in East Tennessee.
We've come a LONG way in three years! But, all in all, not much has changed. We are so blessed to have a great house, a good job, and a wonderful family. Not to mention, two precious kiddos! We look forward to see what happens in the NEXT three years.
