Our Little Ballerina

Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a ballerina on our hands.

She wears leotards.  She wears a tutu.  She even wears her very own ballet shoes.
Which she can put on.
"ALL.  BY.  MYSELF."

Our church, Cornerstone Church of Knoxville, offers a ballet class for little girls taught by a member of our church who is a professional dancer and instructor.  Nora is in the Beginners class for 3-5 year olds, and if I am not mistaken, she is the youngest in her class.

Can I just say that she LOVES ballet!  She is thrilled to be in class and learning and dancing and spinning and pointing her toes.  I can't wait to see how much she learns over the course of the year.  There will be a recital in the spring, so our family will be able to come see her perform when that time comes.

One of the other reasons that Nora loves ballet so much:

Little Miss Buttercup herself, Layla Grace, is in Nora's class!  They are the best of friends, so ballet class wouldn't be the same without her Layla!  (Of course, after only three weeks of class, we've decided that the girls need to be separated during class because they love each other so much that they can't control their silliness sometimes when they are together).

But don't worry.  Silliness abounds as soon as class is over!

I have enjoyed watching Nora the past few weeks, and to be honest, being a spectator of this precious class is HILARIOUS!  The girls are all so adorable.  I laugh myself into stitches almost every time watching them.  I need to get some of it on video to share with everyone!
