Nora's Phone Calls With Daddy

If you have the time and want to have a good laugh, these videos of Nora talking to Jonathan on the phone today are priceless. Priceless to me, anyway. They so capture how chatty she is. It is so rare that I can capture her talking on video, and today I was able to capture such a precious conversation between her and her Daddy. I apologize that they are lengthy. You may have to turn up the volume to hear Jonathan as he is on the speakerphone. Enjoy!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today my wonderful husband is 29 years old! He is such a gift to both Nora and I, and he has grown so much into an amazing father and husband over the past few years. I am so excited that he will have a son this year...a little man to train and to teach in the ways of biblical manhood! With the grace and wisdom of the Lord, I know Jonathan will be a great example to our little boy!

Because he has such a busy work schedule this week, the only day Nora and I could arrange to have lunch with Jonathan was yesterday. We bundled up and heading to work with Daddy's favorite lunch, Chick-fil-a, and a cookie cake to share with the office.






I love you, my boy! I pray the Lord has wonderful things in store for you this year!

Lunch Out with Daddy

This past Tuesday, Jonathan had an extra long lunch break, so Nora and I were able to meet him out for a special lunch. We met up at Long's Pharmacy and Soda Fountain for some delicious hamburgers and yummy milkshakes. Nora had her usual rice cereal and vegetables. Yum, Yum! This was a nice treat, and hopefully, we can do this more often in the future!

Daddy and Daughter Weekend

This afternoon, I am off to our church's women's retreat in Chattanooga, TN. We leave this afternoon and will return sometime tomorrow around suppertime. This is my first time to leave Nora overnight! I am having some serious mixed emotions today as I prepare to go, but I TOTALLY trust that Jonathan will do a fabulous job of taking care of Nora. Thanks babe for giving me the freedom to go and for watching our girlie while I am gone. Y'all don't have too much fun without me.
